October 22, 2011 - National Canadian women’s team coach Shauna Flath of Vancouver commented on her team’s Pan Am Games gold medal performance to DailySquashReport:
“A great effort was put in by every single member of our team - it was truly
a team effort.
“When it was their turn to play and a win needed, they all produced the result.
“It was a great 10 days for us in Guadalajara, being part of Team Canada, and
contributing to the medal count for our country means a lot to each and
every one of us. Also the opportunity to showcase squash at a multi-sport
environment puts us on the map.
“Overall I am really pleased with the progression and improvement of the
squad.”
