Pakistan No.1 Iqbal Knocked Out In Islamabad $25K

October 22, 2014 - Pakistan's number one squash player Nasir Iqbal, the World No.44, suffered a surprise defeat to compatriot and World No.94 Aamir Atlas Khan during the quarter-finals of the PSA International 25, Serena Hotels CAS International Squash Championship in Islamabad.

Iqbal, who finished runner-up in both his previous PSA World Tour competitions in July and August, fell to a 3-1 defeat against former World No.14 Khan who will now face his brother Danish in the semi-finals for the right to be the only Pakistani player represented in the final.

Awaiting them in the title decider will be either tournament favourite Omar Abdel Meguid, the Egyptian World No.28, or Qatar's Abdulla Mohd Al Tamimi, the World No.74.
