- Success in last week's Qatar Classic in Doha has seen Gregory Gaultier rise to fifth place in the latest 2011 Dunlop PSA World Series Standings.

In his first major title success for more than two years, the Frenchman defeated England's former champion James Willstrop in a 70-minute final of the sixth PSA World Series event of the year at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex.

But, despite surprise early exits in Doha, England's world number one Nick Matthew and the second-ranked Egyptian Ramy Ashour share the lead at the top of the standings, both with 375 points.

Egypt's US Open champion Amr Shabana holds onto third place, while Willstrop strengthens his grip on fourth place after reaching his first World Series final of the year.

Egypt's Karim Darwish failed to defend his 2010 title in Doha, but a semi-final berth sees the 30-year-old from Cairo reclaim a place in the all-important top eight, overtaking Malaysian Mohd Azlan Iskandar.

England's Peter Barker, whose quarter-final finishes in all six PSA World Series events makes him the year's most consistent performer, is at No6 in the new list.
