Coufal Over Aitken In $7K Santiago WISPA Open

October 23, 2011 - Birgit Coufal beat Lisa Aitken in the Santiago Open final after both players’ ejected higher seeds during Friday’s semi-finals.
Fifth seed Coufal beat the tournament favourite Alexandra Norman 11-2, 11-9, 5-11, 11-4 in 22 minutes.
Lisa Aitken of Scotland, beat the no2 seed Siyoli Waters in her semi-final 11-7, 11-9, 11-5 in 18minutes.
Coufal then completed her unlikely Santiago Open run by beating Aitken in the final, 11/9, 11/7, 11/5 in 21minutes.
