Al Muzayen Gets Ten Out Of Ten
by Howard Harding

11 November 2012 - Kuwaiti Abdullah Al Muzayen marked an impressive record in the new PSA Challenger 10 IKEA International Squash 2012 in his home country when he secured his tenth successive victory in a PSA World Tour final.

The top-seeded 24-year-old had to fight off Egyptian challenges in the final two rounds at the South Surrah Ministries Complex in Kuwait City - first beating qualifier Fares Mohamed Dessouki in the semis, then recovering from two games down in the final to overcome third seed Mazen Hesham Ga Sabry 9-11, 8-11, 12-10, 11-5, 11-7 in 53 minutes.

Al Muzayen, who celebrated a career-high world No46 ranking this month, boasts a remarkable record in PSA Tour finals - having now won 13 out of the 16 he has contested, including ten in a row since winning the Progetto 6 Open in Italy in December 2010.
