by Tina Fuselli

November 24, 2013 - In Sunday's final of the $5K WSA Mercedes of Scottsdale:

Both girls came out with a game plan with Maria taking the first game before Sabrina took the next two.

All eyes were on Sabrina, thinking she was going to win the in four but Maria had other plans.

The fifth game showed some amazing acrobatics with Sabrina diving across the court to retrieve a short ball.

Thinking she had won the point, she could not believe the pick up was good and threw her racket it total disgust. The referee awarded a conduct warning but who could blame her!

The audience was in awe at the dive only ever seeing men do this!

Maria took it all well and saved 3 match balls before Sabrina finally closed out the match.

Final:
Sabrina bt Maria 3-2, 6-11, 11-6, 11-7, 7-11, 11-5 (48 mins)
