Three Weeks After Landing David Palmer, PST Primed For Another Signing
from Tour Media

28 November 2011
- This Thursday, Pro Squash Tour (PST) will announce that another world-class talent is choosing PST. Less than three weeks ago, PST announced the signing of squash icon David Palmer, who is widely accepted as one of the 10 best squash players in history.

"This Thursday's signing will be world-wide news," says PST Commissioner Joe McManus, "because a trend is starting to take shape. Players are choosing PST."

At the end of 2010, in response to PST’s rapid growth and with concern for its own future, the UK-based Professional Squash Association banned its nearly 500 members from competing in PST tournaments. An international chase for talent ensued, and PST is gaining momentum.

Earlier signings include:

Irish National Champion John Rooney

Greek National Champion Fabian Kalaitzis

Swedish National Champion Gustav Detter

Four-time El Salvadoran National Champion and current National Team Member Ricky Weisskopf

Colombian National Team Member Andres Vargas

Former Egyptian #1 Junior Mohamed El Sherbini

Reigning PST Champion Bradley Ball (England).
