What is it!?

December 12, 2018 - Of the 900 junior squash-players from (all over the world) making the draws at the 2018 U.S. Junior Squash Open, (being played at Phillips Andover Academy, (18 courts) Harvard University, (14 courts) and the Brooks School, (10 courts) only 30 players are from California...in fact, only a total of 33 players from the entire West Coast! The Californian's include: BU11/3; BU13/6; BU15/3; BU17/2; BU19/2; GU11/4; GU13/6; GU15/0; GU17/0; GU19/4. And...only one boy from Southern California...Elian Vera of San Diego, who's seeded #26 out of the 98 players in his draw. What is it...accessibility to squash-courts, the junior squash talent pool, junior programs or junior coaching!? Perhaps all four!
