- Steve Hufford remained unbeaten at the keyboard Friday as his T Party
squeezed out a 2-1 Chapter 9 win over a luckless Quill Shots squad.
The T Party, at 7-1,
edges closer to a PAR-11 victory in the world's first-known squash
fiction league match, sponsored by Black Knight.
The Quills' lone win was via Tracy Gates' stellar performance in the Chapter 4 clean-up slot.
Of the Quills' defeats, five have been by tough 2-1 margins on the match judges' cards.
Hufford used a
straightforward style in furthering the T Party saga that centers
around a player's waterlogged ex-husband and a club called Squash City.
Hufford, who also prevailed in his Chapter 2 matchup, is the first player to reach the multiple-win mark in the competition.
The teams break for
Christmas and are back on court December 30th, with Mick Joint (Q)
going toe-to-toe with Richard Millman (T).
