David Palmer, John White Slated For January Foley Squash Shop PST Phoenix Open from Tour Media December 26, 2011-
Australian #1 David Palmer headlines the January 12-15th international draw. Palmer
made his recent PST debut in Cleveland, Ohio, and won the Cleveland
Classic over Irish Champion John Rooney.
Palmer will face stiff competition from a star-studded international draw of squash elite.
Also registered is current PST points leader Mohamed El Sherbini, who
has already won the San Diego Open and Bobcat Classic tournaments this
season in California and Maine. Before turning pro, Sherbini was
Egypt's #1 ranked junior player. He was PST's top recruit last season
and is enjoying playing in the U.S.-based tour.

Bradley Ball, who opponents call the "Brad Attack" because of his powerful, attacking style is PST's Reigning Champion.
John White is a one-time Scottish National Champion and former World
#1. The Australian born Scot holds the World Record for hitting the
fastest squash in a match. His backhand was recorded at 172 mph. His
forehand is not as powerful. He only hits it 171 mph. White is now
based in Philadelphia, PA where he is the Head Squash Coach at Drexel
University.
Dan Sharplin is a one-time New Zealand National Champion. Now based in
the U.S., he is the Director of Squash at Cross Court Squash Club in
Natick, MA. U.S. Squash has 11,766 members, and Sharplin remains the
top rated player.
Greek National Champion Fabian Kalaitzis is the most successful player in the history of Greece.
Adrian Leanza was Brown University's #1 player before turning pro.
Originally from Denver, CO he enters the Phoenix Open as PST's #3
player on the points leaderboard.
