Trinity Men Beats Penn To Extend to 12-1 by David Kingsley

Sophomore Moustafa Hamada (Mumbai, India) allowed just nine points in a
3-0 win in the No. 7 match to lead the Trinity College Bantams to an
8-1 victory over the visiting University of Pennsylvania Quakers in
men’s squash action this afternoon at Kellner Squash
Center.
Trinity, ranked No. 2 in the nation, improves to 12-1 with its fourth
straight win, while the Quakers fall to 3-5 with their fourth setback
in a row. Trinity junior Reinhold Hergeth (Bloemfontein, South
Africa) and first-year Elroy Leong (Selangor, Malaysia) won 3-0 matches
at the No. 3 and No. 8 spots, respectively. Penn junior Dan
Greenberg (Bala Cynwyd, Pa.) edged Trinity junior Johan Detter (Malmoe,
Sweden), 3-2, with a 12-10 win in the fifth game of the No. 2 match to
account for the Quaker point.
