Sennie Clark is StreetSquash Volunteer of the Month

January 7, 2013 - Sennie Clark has been working with us since the beginning of the year and is a huge asset to the academic team. She works daily with the 7th and 8th grade students in study.
Academic Assistant, Sophia Jones says, "I would like to thank her for helping me with overall classroom management from making sure the students stay on task with homework and skill building, some discipline aspects as well as helping acquaint new volunteers with how the daily schedule runs.
"Though her main job is to help the students one on one she acts very much like a minor academic assistant in the classroom. I love how she interacts with the students. Since she is a very dedicated volunteer the students have learned and come to see her as another authority figure in the room. She is my eyes and ears whenever I am managing the classroom. It's been a pleasure to have her on board."
