Hardball Tournament, Chapel Hill NC 2/15 update April 6th, 7th, and 8th   2018 ..... Fetzer Gym's 6 Hardball Courts

We are expecting a very large turnout of college players from as many as 12 Universities for the College Divisions. This 2018 UNC Invitational will be an exciting tournament, with a record breaking 21th century turnout for playing hardball.  Hardball will be introduced to a whole new generation of players.  We would appreciate your support to help provide a stipend for college participants.

Friday night's reception will be at Paula and Palmer Page's home and Saturday's evening reception will be at The Chapel Hill Country Club.  We plan to have an Organizers and Jesters breakfast Sunday morning.  There is a men's and women's lacrosse game Saturday vs Virginia and Louisville.  There is also softball and mens tennis competition as well, all can be found at GoHeels.com.

There will be golf opportunities prior to, during and following the weekend.  The courses are in excellent condition and designed by Fazio, Hamm, the Jones, Palmer and Ross. We will attempt to organize folks together on days and times they want to play.  On the Friday and Sunday we would probably use Finley and Chapel Hill Country Club, they are excellent and less than 10 minutes from the venue.  Pinehurst, the Home of American Golf, is 60 miles and 80 minutes away for a side trip.

The local courses are great and cost from about $100 to as low $40 - depending on the day, time and carry, pull cart or motorized cart.  You can see the courses at these websites: https://www.uncfinley.com/  http://www.chapelhillcountryclub.com/Home.aspx   http://www.hvcc.org/golf  https://golf.duke.edu/golf/history/   //www.lonniepoolegolfcourse.com/design/ Please indicate any golf interest times: Thursday 9AM ___ noon ____ Friday 9Am ____ noon____ Sunday 2:00 ___ Monday 10AM____
