Allam British Open Masters & Qualifying Venues Announced by David Hood

England Squash & Racketball (ESR) has finalised agreements with two
top squash clubs in London and Surrey to stage Allam British Open
support events ahead of the prestigious tournament being held at The
London Piazza, O2 Arena, 14 - 20 May 2012.
Following the completion of a million pound redevelopment programme,
providing four state of the art glass backed squash courts, Coolhurst
Tennis and Squash Club in Crouch End, North London, will host the
British Open Masters Championship.
The British Open Masters, 12 - 16 May 2012, is an open competition
divided into nine age categories spanning over 35s to over 75s and is
expected to draw a strong entry from clubs nationwide and across Europe.
Across London, in the heart of Surrey, the final qualifying tournaments
for the men’s and women’s British Open Finals will be held at St
George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club, Weybridge.
The Allam British Open Men’s qualifying tournament from which the top
eight players will earn the right to join the 24 elite players
pre-selected from their Official PSA World Rankings, will be staged at
St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club on the weekend of the 12 - 13 May
2012, with the women’s qualifiers running alongside and extending to
Monday 14th May.
With the Men’s tournament commencing on the ASB Championship Court at
the O2, the opening round of the women’s British Open will continue at
St. Georges Hill on Tuesday 15 May, before switching to the London
Piazza from round two.
