International Squash Academy Offers Premier Squash Camps And Clinics For Players of All Skill Levels
by Keri Arnold Hostetler

February 24, 2015 - As a sport, high school and college-level squash is incredibly competitive, with national and international tournaments and other events separating casual players from the elite few truly dedicated to athletic success. For those squash athletes determined to achieve their best, the International Squash Academy (ISA) has developed a unique array of camps and clinics designed to train amazing players with the help of the greatest squash coaches in existence today.

ISA’s program offerings are found across multiple skill levels and entry requirements. Its Instructional Camps are open to all players ages 10 to 18, providing a 4:1 player-to-coach ratio with training custom-tailored to attendee needs. The Elite Camps are invitation-only courses for tournament-level athletes, giving them access to some of the world’s top coaches. Lastly, College Showcases are for high school athletes and college freshman who want to ramp up their performance to meet collegiate level standards.

In all camps and clinics, athletes receive individualized skill assessment through video analysis and feedback, peer match play, and goal-setting sessions. Participants are able to connect with other squash mates and enjoy the excitement of interacting with those who are as devoted to the sport as they are. Proper conditioning is enforced to ensure athlete safety at all times, with coaches tuned into and able to address players’ unique strengths and weaknesses.

ISA is part of the Positive Coaching Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to “Better Athletes, Better People.” All ISA coaches and team members are highly certified by national and international squash organizations and are committed to giving youths and high school athletes a positive, character-building sports experience, both on and off the court.

Heading up the effort is legendary squash coach Paul Assaiante, currently executive director and head squash coach at Trinity College, alongside internationally renowned coach Amir Wahgi, who leads the Egyptian National Squash Team.

Since 2007, the International Squash Academy has hosted over 900 athletes at camps and clinics across the country, with many participants going on to play in collegiate programs at prestigious institutes such as Trinity, Bates, Hamilton, Franklin & Marshall, and many more.

International Squash Academy is committed to helping squash athletes of all skill levels reach elite levels of plays, whether in tournaments, college, or beyond. With an international team of top squash coaches, ISA programs range from Instructional Camps to Elite Invitational Camps to College Showcases, all of which let players unlock their full potential, connect with peers, and have fun while training hard.
