Top Seeds Anjema & Pilley Into Quarters Of $35K Manitoba Open

- Top seeds Laurens Anjema of The Netherlands and Cameron Pilley of Australia both had their hands full in first round matches yesterday but advanced to the quarters  of the $35,000 PSA Manitoba Open in Winnepeg.

Anjema fought off Frenchman Matthew Castagnet 11-7 in the fourth, while Pilley slipped past dangerous Egyptian Mohammed Abbas, also 11-7 in the fourth.

Elsewhere in the draw, Montreal's Shawn Delierre took care of rising star Andrew Schnell of Calgary in three.
