March 18, 2012 - Top American Amanda Sobhy completed her steamrolling of the draw with a straight-set final round victory over world #38 Misaki Kobayashi of Japan yesterday to win the WSA National Capitol Open in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
The final tally was 11-3 11-9 and 11-5.
Amanda sliced through the international field in the four-round event without the loss of a game.
The WSA title concludes a high-flying three-week stretch for Sobhy, during which she won the National Intercollegiates and the US Women's titles.
