1st Annual Bob Penotti Hardball Event & Dedication Set For May 5 In New Jersey

March 20, 2013 - Rob Penotti has organized a new event for Hardball Singles Squash (as well as softball) in honor of his father, long-time major supporter and promoter of hardball singles and squash generally -- Bob Penotti -- who passed recently.
The event will include a court dedication ceremony, with a Hardball Pro Exhibition -- hopefully Preston Quick vs Chris Walker, respectively the 2012 and 2013 U.S. Squash National Champions, followed by a reception and dinner.
The tournament and dedication will be at the Wayne, NJ YMCA which has some excellent hardball as well as softball courts. Wayne is slightly Northwest of New York City.
Rob is hoping to also have at least an 8 player A Hardball player draw as well as some age group draws.
Should be a GREAT! Event and an opportunity to honor a GREAT! Squash Player.
The Penotti Family will be establishing a Scholarship Fund for Junior Squash as part of the effort.
Hopefully, many of you from the Hardball Squash Community and friends will support -- by participating in -- this event.
