Junior Squash Rankings by Nick-At-Will It
is really wonderful that there are over 1950 junior squash-players
nationally ranked and rated in the United States. How about the east
coast versus the west coast? Well...that's an entirely different story!
In all of California, (where the players have registered with the
state), there are just over 150 junior squash-players ranked and/or
rated. The story gets worse! Of the 150 junior squash-players ranked
and/or rated in California, just over 50 are from Southern California!
There are currently (at least) 12 clubs in Southern California (Santa
Barbara to San Diego) sharing (at least) 30 singles
squash-courts...with (at least) ten squash-pros teaching at them! Where
are all those So. Cal. junior squash-players!? Come on guys and gals,
get busy!
