Krajcsak Crowned Kish Island Champion In PSA Iran
by Howard Harding

5 March 2012
- Hungarian Mark Krajcsak returned to winning form at the Kish Persian Gulf Cup in Iran when he upset top seed Yann Perrin to claim the PSA World Tour Challenger 10 squash title at Kish Sports Centre at Kish Island.

The 28-year-old second seed from Budapest survived an evenly-contested clash with Perrin to topple the higher-ranked Frenchman 11-6, 11-7, 8-11, 11-5 in 40 minutes.

It was a major disappointment for the world No70 from Aix-en-Provence who won the Kish crown two years ago.

The success marks Krajcsak's ninth PSA Tour title - but the Hungarian number one's first for almost a year and a half.

RESULTS: PSA Challenger 10 Kish Persian Gulf Cup, Kish Island, Iran

Final:
[2] Mark Krajcsak (HUN) bt [1] Yann Perrin (FRA) 11-6, 11-7, 8-11, 11-5 (40m)
