Job Opening: Head Pro, Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Country Club (CCC) is seeking a full-time Head Squash Professional. The CCC is a full-service, members-only social and athletic club and has featured a nationally renowned squash junior development program for over forty years. In addition to squash, activities include golf, tennis, platform tennis, swimming, aerobics, Pilates, fitness training, massage and more that serves its 780 active members. The squash facilities consist of three international courts and one hardball doubles court.

The successful candidate must demonstrate superior teaching ability to coach a broad range of players, from beginning juniors to tournament level adults, in both singles and doubles. The successful applicant must have a strong playing background and at least five years of coaching experience at all levels of play. The position requires participation in all aspects of the squash program, including teaching private and group lessons, administration of in-house leagues, operating a pro shop, running tournaments, periodic weekend travel with the juniors, and all other traditional activities of a vibrant private club squash program. A particular focus for the squash department has been and should continue to be our historically strong juniors program. The position is not suitable for professionals still actively playing on the professional squash circuit.

Must have excellent management, communication, customer service and computer skills, be a team player, problem solver and be well organized. The Head Squash Professional will work with an assistant who will share in the responsibilities of keeping the program successful. The Head Squash Professional reports directly to the General Manager. A college degree is preferred but not required.

Compensation includes an extremely competitive salary, private lesson and clinic fees, and an attractive benefit package. We are looking to have this position in place by August 1st 2012. Resumes should be received by May 15, 2012.
