Camille Serme Beats Samantha Teran To Gain Today's WSA Texas Open Final
by Ian Munro

April 22, 2012
- A cold weather front coming to Houston did nothing to cool the heat on the show court at The Downtown Club at the Met.

Both matches had the fireworks on tap last night.

Even though world #11 Samantha Teran would not go quietly into that goodnight, top seed Camille Serme of France took Samantha apart slowly and deliberately with surgical precision.

The second offering showed why 12th-ranked Joelle King of New Zealand loves coming to Texas.

Joelle's game of power, deception, and never-say-die was on full display and out she out retrieved the retriever to win the second contest of the night over gritty world #7 Annie Au of Hong Kong.
