Max Lee Survives Buler Challenge In Hong Kong
by Howard Harding

22 April 2012
- Three years after winning the Buler Challenge Cup title for the first time, Max Lee reclaimed his place on the winner's podium after beating unseeded Dick Lau in today's all-Hong Kong final of the PSA World Tour Challenger 10 squash event at the Hong Kong Squash Centre in Hong Kong.

In the 2008 final, also against Lau, the 24-year-old dropped a game to his older national rival - but this time the world No35 and reigning Hong Kong national champion was in complete control throughout.

The top seed's 11-4, 11-8, 11-7 victory in 32 minutes marks Lee's first PSA World Tour title triumph of the year, but the sixth of his career.

RESULTS: PSA Challenger 10 Buler Challenge Cup, Hong Kong China

Final:

[1] Max Lee (HKG) bt Dick Lau (HKG) 11-4, 11-8, 11-7 (32m)
