April 2, 2012
- I was up until 3:30 Saturday morning - I was on the only coverage of the Nicol David KL Open, which was a Squash Stars blog chat room.

It was a blast, as there were a few of us "chatting" (two people court-side) and the rest of us around the world discussing what was going on between points and games.

What a mess both matches were! The referees got themselves in trouble early on in each of the two matches - not awarding strokes and awarding way, way too many lets.

I've never seen or heard of Nicol being quite so upset regarding the calls, as she's about as fair a player as one could find.

Not sure if the PST "No Let" system will ever be adopted...probably not, but SOMETHING has to happen with the referees having more courage in awarding strokes where approprate.

Steve's April Fool's Day joke will never be accepted, but it gives "food for thought"!
