I was struck by the tweet you posted under the heading Not Good and found it provocative. I have no reason to question the stated date and time of the photo so let’s start with that it is accurate. Why is this happening? While I have chosen not to take public transportation in these days I am told that the frequency of trains is way down, so here is an additional data point to the photo. Lower frequency inevitably leads to higher density on the trains that do run. One reason for this crowded train could be some are willfully ignoring the stay at home policy. Another, to me more plausible, is that these are the people who have the essential jobs and have to travel. If it is the latter I find great good in the photo while I also find a fear for those who are clearly placing themselves at risk here and elsewhere in public. I wonder if we could then headline the tweet with something like Not Good for These Good People. -- Jim Coddington
