13 May 2012 - Upsets in both semi-finals of the Atlanta Open have led to unseeded Alfredo Avila and Clinton Leeuw contesting the unexpected final of the PSA World Tour Challenger 10 squash event at Life Time Fitness Atlanta in Atlanta, USA.

Avila, the world No 148 from Mexico, produced the biggest shock by overcoming top-seeded Czech Jan Koukal 11-8, 11-7, 7-11, 11-9 after a 90-minute marathon.

The 20-year-old from Mexico City is celebrating the fourth Tour title of his career.

Avila will face South African Clinton Leeuw. The Cape Town-born world No 107 ended US interest in the event when he beat Christopher Gordon, the No3 seed from New York, 11-3, 12-10, 7-11, 11-7.

Leeuw, currently based in Germany, is marking his fifth PSA Tour final appearance.
