-The Pakistan Squash Board has designated former world #2 Mohibullah Khan, Jr. as Director of Squash effective immediately,  the Associated Press of Pakistan has reported.

Mohibullah was runner-up at the World Open in 1975 and the British Open in 1976,  losing both finals to Australia’s Geoff Hunt. He is the older brother of Jansher Khan, who won the World Open a record eight times in the 1980’s and 90’s.

Once-dominant Pakistan currently has no players in the top-25 of the PSA rankings. The country won its last World Junior title in 1986.

Mohibullah is remembered in North America for being part of one of the more crowd-pleasing matches in the history of the hardball game, a thrilling all-court war before a packed house in New York City that he eventually lost in five to American star Stu Goldstein.
