18 May 2012 - New Zealand favourite Martin Knight led all four seeds safely through the first round of the Internacional Sporta Open, the PSA World Tour Challenger 15 squash event in its fifth year at the Sporta club in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

The world No43 from Auckland beat English qualifier Nathan Lake 11-4, 11-4, 11-9 and will now face Peter Creed for a place in the semi-finals.

Welsh champion Creed is used to playing Kiwis after ousting New Zealand qualifier Evan Williams 11-7, 5-11, 11-2, 11-4.

An all-New Zealand final is predicted - and second seed Campbell Grayson, also from Auckland, successfully made the last eight after beating Mexico's Erik Tepos Valtierra 11-4, 11-3, 11-6.
