from PSA Media

May 27, 2013 - American Julian Illingworth denied Kristian Frost Olesen a second successive Sekisui Open title when he defeated the Dane in straight games in the final of the PSA World Tour Challenger 10 event at Sportpark Pilatus Kriens in Kriens, Switzerland.

The top seed from New York took exactly an hour to subdue second seed Olesen 13-11, 11-6, 11-4 to win the 11th PSA Tour title of his career.

"Illingworth played really well today," said tournament organiser Mario Tschopp. "He was very precise and played a lot of deadly shots.

"Frost fought as he always does but today the luck was not on his side. He lost his first game on the courts in Kriens. But with three finals in three years he can still be satisfied!

"The Sekisui Open 2013 run very well," added Tschopp. "We hope that we can improve it again for next year. As SEKISUI signed a contract until 2020, the Sekisui Open will be held next year again."

Final:
[1] Julian Illingworth (USA) bt [2] Kristian Frost Olesen (DEN) 13-11, 11-6, 11-4 (60m)
