Osborne of Canada, Maria Elena Ubina of the US and Maria Vazquez of
Mexico will represent North America in today's championship round of
the prestigious Dutch Junior Open in Amsterdam
Osborne, out of Kingston, Ontario, advanced to the Boys U-19 final by beating
Marc ter Sluis of the Netherlands in three.
Ubina defeated Hannah Davies of Wales 11-7 in the fifth to reach to
Girls U-19 final. Ubina was a surprise runner-up in last week’s
Pioneer Cup in Germany.
Vazquez, of Mexico City, straight-setted Belgium’s Tinne Gilis to
get to the Girls U-15 final, where she is the odds-on favorite to
