Outrageous!

July 12, 2012 - Have you heard that the US Olympic Committee has spent $1,945 each (for the men) and $1,473 each (for the women) in outfitting our 2012 United States Olympic Teams!?.

And guess what, the outfits (not including competitive wear, just formal dress) have been purchased from Ralph Lauren, (a USOC "partner"), and were "made in CHINA," of all places!

Let's see...with the 530 US Olympic athletes (269 women, 261 men) that comes to a bill (of which donations to the IOC have contributed to) of a whopping total of $958,158!

To read the entire article regarding formal dress for our American Olympic athletes, go to: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs/team-usa-decked-uniforms-made-china-010545973--abc-news-topstories.html.

And some government officials are now saying the US Olympic uniforms should be burned, and to start all over again!

Sounds like a good reason for re-considering making donations to the US. Olympic Committee to me!

Happy Squashing!
