Regarding
the recent DSR article, "Taking A Sport Public," way back in 2004, (14
years ago!) the all-glass portable squash-court was brought to and put
up on the stage of the indoor Macy's Plaza shopping center in downtown
Los Angeles. This event was arranged in order to host the 5th annual
2004 Epstein Becker & Green United States Squash Racquets
Association Professional Squash Championships. Not only were all the
pro matches played there, but so were eight squash skill-levels
contested for the Southern California amateur squash-playing community
as well.
