July 27, 2019 - The Southern California Squash Racquets Association will be hosting a U.S. Squash junior GOLD tournament over the October 25-27, 2019 weekend! The event will take place at both the prestigious Los Angeles Athletic Club in downtown LA and at the Arroyo Seco Racquet Club, iSQUASH facility in South Pasadena, CA. The two venues are only eight miles and 18 minutes apart. This is only the second junior gold squash-tournament to be held in Southern California since its first over the March 18th, 2016 weekend in San Diego. Both facilities feature four squash-courts each. The 16-player older age-division draws will be played at the LAAC, with the remaining younger age-divisions contested at Arroyo Seco. David Jung, Treasurer of So. Cal. Squash the LAAC's Squash Committee Chairman said: "The opportunity to finally host a gold level Junior Squash tourney in Los Angeles is tremendous and will make a strong impact for the local squash community. We hope to see more in the near future as we continue to grow!" Junior squash-players may register for the tournament by going to the U.S. Squash tournament web-site at: iSquash/LAAC SoCal Junior Gold (16-Player Draws). See So. Cal. "Keep one eye on the ball and the other eye on Southern California! Los Angeles welcomes its first-ever Junior Gold Tournament October 25-27, sanctioned by US Squash and co-hosted by the Arroyo Seco Racquet Club in South Pasadena and the Los Angeles Athletic Club downtown. The clubs are teaming up to provide enough courts for the event and will cap the ten draws at 160 players. Thank you local squash professional leadership tournament Directors Alex Reynolds and Tom Williams, and everyone involved from both clubs and So. Cal. Squash for stepping up our game to support the fastest  growing sport in the great city of LA."
