Mike McCue of Sudbury, Ontario reached the Boys U-19 Pioneer Junior Cup
semi-finals yesterday by defeating Daniel Hock Burn of England 11-7
11-4 8-11 11-7. McCue will take on top seed Declan James of
England in today’s semi-final.
In the round-of-16 earlier in the day, McCue beat Tatu Knuutila of Finland in straight sets.
McCue is the only Canadian still alive in the U-17 and U-19 boys and girls divisions.
