Murray Comes Back From Two-Love Down To Reach Pioneer Semis

- Top-ranked US junior Dylan Murray reached the U-17 Boys semi-finals of the Pioneer Cup in Cologne, Germany today after coming from two-love down to defeat Amir Hosam Sedik of Egypt.

In the round-of-16 earlier in the day, Murray beat Roshan Bharose of The Netherlands in straight sets.

Murray, out of Bronxville, New York, will face #1 seed Osama Khalid Khalifa of Egypt Sunday afternoon for a spot in the finals. The other Boys U-17 semi will pair Switzerland’s Manuel Wanner against second-seeded Martin Svec of the Czech Republic.

Murray’s US World Juniors teammates Edward Columbia and Liam McClintock fell today in the round-of-16, with Columbia losing to Claudio Pinto of Portugal and McClintock extending #3 seed Saad Shahid of Pakistan before losing 11-7 in the fifth.
