Nicol David, Jenny Duncalf Reach Australian Open Final

August 13, 2011 - Top seed Nicol David of Malaysia and second seed Jenny Duncalf of England have advanced to tomorrow’s Australian Open championship match.
In today’s semis, David beat Australia’s Rachel Grinham 11-7, 13-11, 11-7, while Duncalf got past Madeline Perry of Ireland 11-8, 11-9, 2-11, 11-4.
David, who has maintained the #1 world ranking since January 2006, has faced Duncalf in two WISPA tour finals in 2011 and won them both.
