- Former World #1 John White of Scotland will do battle with Bradley Ball of England in today’s Pro Squash Tour Mohawk Open final in Southhampton, New York.

White and Ball’s previous PST encounter was a bruising and bloody affair at the Providence Open last spring,  won by Ball in five.

Ball advanced to the finals in Southampton with a quarterfinal victory over number one American junior Dylan Murray (11-8, 11-6, 11-3) and a semifinal victory over Mohamed El Sherbini of Egypt (11-4, 12-10, 11-9). El Sherbini won last week’s PST San Diego Open.

White moved into the finals with a quarterfinal victory over US junior Faraz Khan (11-3, 11-9, 11-3) and a semifinal victory over American Tommy Wolfe (11-7, 11-2, 11-3).

In the quarters, Wolfe beat fellow American Kyle Jens (11-5, 11-2, 11-1) while El Sherbini ousted Phil Wilkins of Wales (11-9, 11-8, 12-10).
