- Canada has sent a solid team with PSA experience to the World Team Championships which begin Sunday in Paderborn, Germany.

The Canadian squad is seeded #7 in the event, one spot ahead of the US, which is seeded eighth.

The team will be led by PSA world #31 Shahier Razik  and world #58 Shawn Delierre at one and two, and Andrew McDougall and Andrew Schnell are expected to split the match time at #3.

Canada is, however, in a potentially sticky preliminary pool that includes Mexico and Scotland, with the top two finishers advancing to the money round.

The Canadian team takes on Scotland on Sunday, Mexico on Monday, and Namibia on Tuesday, to complete pool play.

Canada will be coached in the World Team Championships by Yvon Provencal.
