Coach Assaiante Checks In On Canada Versus The US

August 24, 2011 - USA Coach Paul Assaiante was understandably reserved in his evaluation of today's round-of-16 showdown match between the US and Canada.
He told DailySquashReport:
Canada will be a huge challenge.
We are playing for chance to play Egypt in the quarters!
We will have much to do.
We don't turn in lineups tomorrow until 2pm.
We don't want to reveal our lineup before then.
On Yesterday's Italy Match, he said:
Summation of our match vs italy-
Wow that italian team is very good!
Gordo started us off and I wish we had filmed this as the Italian player was spectacular - Perfect length and width - Brought the ball to the front with amazing accuracy.
Chris actually played very well but it was another level.
Todd played second - Won the first game but a more experienced player made the adjustments to win in 4.
Julian and Galliffe put on a shotmaking exhibition but also were careful to conserve energy for the next 5 days!
