- Mohammed El Sherbini of Egypt will headline this weekend’s San Diego Open, the first stop on the 2011-12 Pro Squash Tour.

El Sherbini became the top seed after Chris Walker had to withdraw from the event due to injury.

Players from Australia, Brazil, England, Israel, New Zealand, Wales and the US round out the eight-man draw.

The pro matches begin Saturday at noon at the San Diego Squash Club.
