“Wow what a night for the last round of qualifying.  Exciting to say the least.  2 Canadians have made it into the main round Carolyn Russell and Melanie Jans.  Carolyn defeated Samantha Cornett in a tough and physical 4 games.  Melanie played outstanding tactical squash as she slowed down the pace with Leoni and her patience and court awareness was definitely evident.  Also coming through in exciting matches was Kristen Lange who battled back from being down 2-1 and finishing off the match with outstanding game 4 and 5 performances and the longest match of the night 58mins.  Nayelly defeated Steph in 4 in long match as well with Nayelly closing it out in 4 14-12.”
