- Twenty-eight-year-old graduate student Phillip Romm of  Aachen, Germany, has invented and manufactured a mobile, inflatable squash court that fits in the trunk of a car.

The court, called Air Squash, is designed to use an existing sub-surface as the floor.  Most clean surfaces work, says Romm, from gym floors to running tracks.

Romm has designed a special ball to interact optimally with his inflatable court.
