Mike Corren Captures Coffs Harbour PSA Crown

9 September 2012 - Australian Mike Corren denied rising Scottish player Greg Lobban his first professional squash title when he won today's tough four-game final at the North Coast Open in Coffs Harbour, Australia.
The 20-year-old sixth-seeded Scot was playing in his first ever final on the men's PSA World Tour - and started brilliantly, taking the first game against top seed Corren in the climax of the PSA Challenger 5 event at Coffs Harbour Squash Centre.
But the evergreen Corren steadied to win the next three and take the match 8-11, 11-3, 13-11, 11-3 to claim the 42nd Tour title of his career and his second North Coast Open crown in three years.
The 38-year-old from Sydney was also celebrating his 60th appearance in a PSA Tour final - becoming only the third player in the modern game to achieve this milestone, after England's Peter Nicol (69) and his career-long Canadian rival Jonathon Power (61).
