Brett started playing squash in high school in South Africa and
has
been consistently involved in the game since then. He has played
on many teams in various countries around the world. After moving
to New York City in 2003 to pursue a career in finance, he began
playing squash in the West Village where he lives. Subsequent to the
closure of his old club, he now frequents the courts at the University
Club and Cityview in Queens. Brett previously served on the Board of
the MSRA/New York Squash during which time he reinstituted an interclub
doubles league in the New York metro area. He still regularly
volunteers for various squash programs and enjoys giving back to the
sport that has brought him so much fulfillment over the

Bryan
is the Head Coach at Fordham University in New York and the squash
director of CitySquash. He competed on the professional tour in the
1970’s and was ranked #2 in England and #16 in the world. He was
a founding member of the ISPA, which is now the PSA, and he has been a
director of the US Junior National teams. Bryan is a native of
Berwick-on-Tweed, Northumberland, England and a 1967 graduate of
St. John’s College in Yorkshire.
John
Musto is a squash coach and former professional player who was the 2010
#1 ranked US 40+ player and is a Level 2 US certified teaching
professional. John played #1 for the Pan Am Fed Championships
silver medal-winning US National team in 1996 and was the 4-year #1
player for the 2-time National champion Yale team as well as the #1
ranked US junior player. John is currently the Director of Squash
at the CityView Racquet Club in New York City and the Director of the
Rome Squash Camp in Italy (www.romesquashcamp.com). John writes a
column on playing better squash.
Julian
Illingworth, 27, is the reigning seven-time U. S. National Champion and
has been ranked as high as No. 28 on the PSA world pro singles tour,
the only American to have ever earned a top-30 PSA ranking. A native of
Portland, Oregon, he was a four-time first-team all-American at Yale,
and
he led the Elis to a co-Ivy League championship in his senior year,
which culminated in his successful defense on his "home" Payne Whitney
Gymnasium courts of the U. S. National Championship he had won for the
first time as a junior the year before. Recently married, Illingworth
currently resides in Manhattan and plays out of the New York Athletic
Club.
Bob Hanscom is best-known for staging many unique professional squash
events in Los Angeles during his 21-year tenure in southern California
as the pro at the University Club of LA and later the Los Angeles
Athletic Club. He retired in 2008. Over the years Bob was USSRA ranked
#1 in his age group eight different times, beginning with the inaugural
National Softball Championships in 1984, as well as being a U.S. Squash
nationally certified referee, assessor and instructor.
