October 13, 2012 - In the SDA season-opening $20,000 Maryland Club Open last night in Baltimore:
Top seeds Damien Mudge and Ben Gould straight-setted Chris Walker/Mark Chaloner;
Second seeds Yvain Badan/Manek Mathur got past Greg McArthur/James Stout 15-2 in the fourth;
Preston Quick and Matt Jenson went the distance with John White and John Russell, winning 15-13 in the fifth;
and Paul Price and Clive Leach were also pushed to the brink, slipping past Jonny Smith and Greg Park also by 15-13 in a dramatic fifth.
Saturday's semifinal matchups, beginning at 6pm EST are:
