October 4, 2012 - The World Doubles Squash Association (WDSA) women kicked their shoes off at the beautiful Hamptons beaches on eastern Long Island, New York, for their first group photo shoot.
As they look to launch their sixth season next weekend in Philadelphia, October 12-14, for the second annual Philadelphia Open benefiting the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania, the WDSA is thrilled to be adding four new tour events, namely the Cincinnati Invitational in November, the US Open at the Wilmington Country Club in Delaware in December, the Baltimore Country Club Invitational in March and the John's Island Open in Florida in April.
In addition, tournaments are scheduled in Denver and Chicago which benefit local urban programs Mile High Squash and METROsquash respectively.
The season will be highlighted by the World Open/Turner Cup Championship in NYC in April and end in Southampton in July at the Wilson Cup.
Also, UBSports announced yesterday that they will partner with the WDSA for the Philadelphia Open, livestreaming the women's semi finals October 13 at 4pm & 5pm EST, and the final October 14 1pm EST.
