Impact of Hurricane Sandy on U.S. SQUASH
by Kevin Klipstein

October 31, 2012 - Many across the entire Northeast are clearly adversely affected by the severity of the recent storm. Foremost, we wish to express our concern for all those in the squash community and sincerely hope that you and your family are safe.

New York City and the surrounding areas were not spared from the impact of Hurricane Sandy. As those of you living in the region already know, in most areas no specific timeline has been determined for the restoration of power or re-establishing basic transportation services. As a result, U.S. SQUASH operations are limited at this time, primarily due to the lack of power and irregular phone and internet service throughout the area, in addition to our employees being displaced by the storm.

As many in the community continue to face challenges related to the aftermath of the storm, we wish you our very best. We also ask from everyone for your patience as we work to resume our normal operations under difficult circumstances. Since inbound phone service may not work for some time, please send emails to appropriate staff contacts and we will respond as soon as possible. For professionals or participants seeking our support related to your specific program or tournament, please direct general questions to: office@ussquash.com, and tournament specific questions to: tournaments@ussquash.com.

Sincerely,

Kevin Klipstein

CEO, U.S. SQUASH
