SquashTV Soliciting Fan Commentators in 'Voice for Squash' from PSA Media
December 9, 2013 -
Budding sports commentators and squash enthusiasts are being given a
unique opportunity to join SquashTV and commentate on live Squash
matches in 2014 – thanks to a fantastic new competition. >From December 9 –
January 10 SquashTV are searching the globe to find budding enthusiasts
with a ‘Voice for Squash’ to join SquashTV commentator Joey Barrington
in the commentary box during select live action in 2014. To enter the
competition, all any hopeful needs to do is watch the ‘Commentary
Competition’ Squash action on SquashTV’s YouTube page
www.youtube.com/psasquashtv and record an MP3 audio recording of their
commentary for the duration of the action. Once any budding
commentator has recorded their submission, they then need to email it
to competitions@psaworldtour.com along with their name, age and address. The top 10 submissions
will then be released on SquashTV’s YouTube and Facebook pages on
January 12, with fans being invited to vote for who they think should
join the Squash TV crew in 2014 with the winners to be announced on
February 1. “We’re very excited to
be able to offer fans, sports enthusiasts and budding commentators the
opportunity to put their skills to the test and see if they have the
‘Voice for Squash’,” said PSA PR & Communications Manager Nathan
Clarke. “We’re looking for
individuals who can paint a picture with their words, who have the
poise, composure and delivery necessary to succeed in the commentary
box. “We will be keeping
our ears tuned for submissions with detail, accuracy, intelligence and
flair and I look forward to listening to all the entries as they come
in.”
