Boston SDA Semis: Leach And Price Rally Into Final

Dateline January 12th --- Trailing 2-1, 13-9 to an opponent which had prevailed in both their prior meetings this season, Paul Price and Clive Leach saved two match-balls against them and rallied to an exciting 15-11 6-15 10-15 15-14 15-3 victory over Manek Mathur and Yvain Badan this afternoon in the semifinal round of the $25,000 Putnam Pro-Am Doubles tournament, hosted as always by the University Club Of Boston. Tomorrow's final will match Leach and Price against two-time defending champions Damien Mudge and Ben Gould, who overpowered Matt Jenson and Preston Quick in the top-half semi by a score of 15-10, 12 and 9.
