Sobhy, Pierrepont Team Up for Weekend Pro Boston Doubles from Squash Media

The first event of 2017 takes place this weekend in Boston.
The draw for the MFS Pro-Am Boston, hosted by the University Club, is
topped by current world #1, Dana Betts and her partner world #9,
Stephanie Hewitt.
The top half of the draw features local players Mary Mckee and Squash
Busters coach, Nessrine Ariffin. McKee/Ariffin face Victoria Simmonds
and Amy Milanek for a place in the semi-finals.
At the bottom half of the draw, #2 seeds Latasha Khan and Tehani Guruge
face strong competition from first time partners, Amanda Sobhy and
Suzie Pierrepont.
This event will be a first appearance on the WSDA tour in over a year
for Sobhy, the current PSA World Ranked #6. Sobhy will be a player to
watch in the Tournament of Champions in Grand Central Terminal next
week.
Sobhy/Pierrepont will need to get past two new faces on the
WSDAtour,Elani and Lume Landman, to secure a spot against Khan/Guruge
in the second semi-final.
